The Role Of A Key – Worker

KeyWorkers are supposed to be the Residents port of call offering assistance in Key areas in order to assist them in having the confidence and skills to move on to independent living.

At times Key-Workers need to advocate for them. There should be a relationship based on a level of trust and respect.  A key-worker should always have their clients best interests at heart.

Key-workers should always strive to keep continuity with their clients as constant change is not be a stable foundation or an indication of investment.
