The Local council farms their move – on case loads to a separate body called Home Connections.

1. Home Connections creates a platform called HomeFinder. This is a database and website that showcases Housing Association and council properties currently available to people subscribed to the scheme.

2. The people on their scheme have either self referred (if they meet the criteria) or are referred by their Supported Housing/ Local Council. Their details and points also become part of the Homefinder database.

3. When there are available properties in the users area they are showcased and the user can bid. If they have suitable points they are whittled down by priority.
